These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, booking services, private vehicle charters, and curated travel experiences across Japan. By accessing or using OtabiRoute, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined below. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.
All services are operated in rigorous compliance with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) guidelines and standard travel contract regulations in Japan.

A binding contract is formed once your reservation is submitted and confirmed by an official OtabiRoute Booking Voucher with a unique reference code. In the rare event of vehicle unavailability, guests are notified within 24 hours with a full refund or suitable alternative.
All transactions are invoiced in Japanese Yen (JPY). Currency displays in USD, EUR, or GBP are live market estimates. Major credit cards, PayPal, and verified electronic payments are processed through bank-level PCI-DSS compliant gateways.
Seatbelts must be worn at all times by all passengers under Japanese traffic law. Smoking and e-cigarettes are strictly prohibited inside all fleet vehicles. Child safety seats are provided upon request in accordance with local legal requirements.
Standard full-day private vehicle charters comprise 10 continuous hours from pickup to drop-off. Overtime requested by the guest or caused by voluntary stops is billed at transparent hourly increments agreed with your concierge.
OtabiRoute maintains comprehensive commercial passenger liability insurance. In cases of severe typhoons, volcanic alerts, or highway closures where travel is unsafe, our safety dispatchers will reroute or reschedule with zero penalty.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising in connection with our services shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court.
